The aim of the internship Programme is to contribute to the training of peace workers who would help promote
peace activities in Africa
Qualification
Applicants must have an educational or professional background suitable to the work of PHARP. No particular study or degree is required, but applicants must have at least a first degree from a recognized higher institution. Knowledge of human rights, academic research and/or practical experience in Peace and conflict resolution, as well as experience in project planning and management, Internet Technology and administration are an advantage.
Duration
Interns should stay for at least 3 months and a maximum of one year.
Status
Interns are not officials or staff members of PHARP and therefore cannot represent PHARP in
any official capacity.
Application deadline
There is no deadline for applying, but PHARP encourages prospective interns to apply at least three months before their scheduled date to begin the internship.
Termination of internship
Either party can terminate the internship prior to its expiry by giving seven (7) days written notice. This notwithstanding, PHARP reserves the right to terminate the internship at anytime if it deems the intern provided false information to PHARP or the intern has brought PHARP into disrepute or undertaken any other activity that PHARP deems incompatible with the its mandate .

Applicants will be informed
of the outcome of their applications one month after
receipt of their applications. Priority will be given to
applicants whose qualifications (area of interest) will
be most useful to PHARP at the time they apply. |
