Overview
The Mediator is a Christian bi- annual Magazine. Since its inception in 1994, the magazine has focused on the exchange of views, opinions, professional advice on peace building, healing and reconciliation. The mandate of The Mediator Magazine is to contribute to the challenge of building effective peace workers who will be instruments of bringing, peace building, conflict resolution and reconciliation. It also aims at equipping the church and local communities by providing them with relevant information on how to identify and help traumatized people. The magazine is published in English, Swahili and French, and distributed in our major areas of our operation i.e. Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. 

Annually, approximately 50,000 readers around Africa and who have been tremendously affected by war, and some in America and Europe get access to the magazine. The Mediator gives the views of people who have first handedly experienced the effects of conflict and are willing to suggest possible solutions, necessary for peace in the continent, and also gives professional advice and opinion from experienced humanitarian workers.

Target Audience
The target audiences of the magazine are: church leaders, trainers counselors, trainees, training institutions, students in theology and conflict resolution, community leaders, Refugee communities, Community Based Organizations, schools and churches, peace and reconciliation training groups and networks already established by PHARP and the local communities in the areas in which PHARP operate.

Advertising
We also appeal to organization to place their messages in the Mediator Magazine. This will increase visibility on your organization because of our high numbers in  readership and wide distribution. the magazine  is distributed in many countries in Africa mainly Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania and DR Congo. Some copies are also distributed abroad. Our rates are reasonable comparing the wide coverage. Contact us

Contribute Articles
The theme for next issue is “ Healing the wounds of violence and conflicts in Africa ” We welcome photos, stories, essays and other articles that address the topic. Contributions should explore the effects of conflict and violence in Africa, the causes and what can be done to transform or solve them .Each writing must be between 1500 to 2000 words.
